Public Relations Office
The Public Relations Office was established to protect and improve the quality of health services offered, ensuring patients are provided the necessary information, reception and protection from any disservice that may limit or deny the right of access to health services and to counter any prejudicial behaviour concerning the dignity of the same.
The Public Relations Office implements monitoring actions focused on the service quality perceived by patients, through the availability of satisfaction surveys distributed in the outpatient clinics, within the wards and in the Day Hospital. Patients or any persons who believe they have been done a disservice or whose access to a specific service has in any way been negated or limited may appeal:
- In person, by visiting the Public Relations Office
- By phone
- In writing, by letter, fax or email
Reports or complaints associated with easy and immediate solutions can help address problems with the services offered in quickly and effectively. Answers and outcomes to such reports shall be provided within 30 days of the submission of the complaint (as provided for by Law 241/90).
